The Hochpustertal Tourism Association provides to its members an online catalog application where they can insert the descriptions of their resorts, services and prices that will be published on the paper version of the catalog.
The application creates a PDF file in high quality format for each resort that will be then assembled in the complete PDF catalog.
I developed this application some years ago and we moved one year ago from a custom PHP implementation to Drupal based solution.
Lately I added some new features has been added to ease the catalog management :
- Ability to specify the colors to use on the PDF for each city
- Ability to specify which stuffs should be available for each resort type
- Automatic resorts photos renaming for an easy identification
- PDF filenames with the city name to permit a quick resorts PDF grouping
- Ability to upload images in AI format for easy insertion in PDF
- New layout and theme integrated with the official website
